Working area / 2008: achieved permanent position as Associate Professor in Plant Pathology Research Institute, AgriculturalResearchCenter (A.R.C). Main fields of research:.
  1. Fungal populations, soilborne, fungal genetics, biological control, vegetative compatibility, Rhizoctonia, Fusarium, and Trichoderma.
  2. Molecular diagnostics and biological control of phytopathogenic fungi.
  3. Ecology and application of Trichoderma in biological control of cotton diseases
  4. Molecular ecology of Trichoderma and Fusarium spp.
  5. Development of marker-assisted selection systems for antagonistic microorganisms.
  6. Develop/refine suitable methods for extracting from infected plants, infested soil and contaminated seed
  7. Develop and evaluate a suitable sampling strategy for detecting Fov in the field
