During Module 4, teachers will also have a chance to find resources for hotlists and/or TrackStar tracks based on their students’ choices of topics. The following topics will be covered:

o Modified KWL: TTL

· Overview (10 minutes)

· Using the TTL Worksheet (10 minutes)

o Gathering and Organizing Internet Resources

· File Management (15 minutes)

· Using the Digital Documentaries web site (5 minutes)

· Creating a Hotlist with Word (10 minutes)

· Citing Sources (10 minutes)

· Search engines/Search strategies (15 minutes)

· Project Work: Collecting Resources (60 minutes)

· Saving Images and Documents (5 minutes)

· Creating a Trackstar Track (30 minutes)
