Module #3: The Build World (Assignment #1)
Description:
- Use the new techniques you have learned from the Google sketch up tutorials and design a set of speakers.
- Create a build design for each of the following types of speakers
- The overall goal is to design a complete stereo system similar to the examples below.
· To do this you should import each completed google sketchup image into photoshop.
· Cut the background and save as a .png
· Repeat this for each speaker
· Merge all speakers together in an arrangement
- Speakers should be in 3 dimensions.

A complete home audio Sound System:
Definitions:
Tweeters – Very small speakers which make high frequency sounds (Treble)
Mid-range speakers – Medium sized speakers responsible for mid range (Treble & Bass)
Woofer – Large speakers responsible for low frequencies (Bass)
Sub-Woofer – VERY large speakers designed to hit very low frequency range (deep low Bass)
Porting – The holes in a speaker which allow the air to move in and out of them
2 – way speakers – Speakers which have two different speakers on them (Normally a tweeter & Mid range)
3 – way speakers – Speakers which have three different speakers on them (Tweeter, Mid range & woofer)
