Module : Flash Card
Objective :By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to use Flash Card software for learning purposes.
How to use this software:
To use this software, you needto download this software from the CD given.
You have to install the software into your computer.
Learning Competency :
- Hold mouse correctly.
- Use mouse for single click and double click.
- Pronounce words in the Flash Card correctly.
Start using Flash Card
1. Double click the icon.
This window will appear.
2. Click button.
This window will appear as shown in picture 2.
3. Click Load A Word List button and the window will appear as shown in Picture 3.
4. Next, select whatever file you want and click Open button.
Choose your speed level by dragging the slider using the mouse.
5. Choose any colour that you wantby clicking it on the colour tool box as shown in Picture 5,
6. Click one of the following button to play.
7. The window as shown in Picture 7 will appear.
8. Flash card will be changedaccording to the chosen speed level.
Pupils can select another word by following the step below:
9. Select the file and click Open.
10. Change font size of the Flash Card by choosing Options menu from the menu bar and click Change Font-Flash Cards.
11. Window as shown in Picture 11 will appear.
12. Choose Fonttype, Font style, fontSize and click the OK button. The next flash card will use the selected font type.
How To Build New Word List
Follow the steps below to build new word list.
a. From the menu bar, select Options and select Edit/Create a word list.
The window below will appear as shown in picture 12.
b. Go to the next step to build a new word list. Example: name of animals
