Statement of Service
- Objective:
To provide daily summary of news items, articles, opinion pieces, editorials appearing in the Indian media (as outlined below) to the British High Commission as per the following requirements:
- Format:
2.1.Executive English Media Summary [Blackberry Version]: Concise summary of main stories to be made available all 7 days a weekby 0815 hours.
2.2.English Media Summary [Full Version]: English media summary including full text of stories to be made available Mon-Fri by 0830 hours. News summary for Sat & Sun to be provided on Monday.
2.3.Language Media Summary: Concise summary of main stories in Hindi and Urdu media (but no full text of story) to be made available Mon-Fri by 1200 hours. News summary for Sat & Sun to be provided on Monday.

Note:
Preference to media reporting must be given to:
- Indo-UK bilateral relationship
- TOP & Breaking news of the day.
- National as well as regional news, keeping focus on cities with prominent BHC presence i,e places where there are BDHCs and BTOs (Mumbai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, Bhubneswar, Pune)
- Media Evaluation for Specific Events
4.1.Media evaluation of specific ministerial visits, events (as requested) etc to be provided within 3 working days from the date of request in specified format.
4.2.This will be ideally limited to 2 evaluations per month and a maximum of 24 annually. However, on certain occasions there could be more than two evaluations per month though the total number of evaluations will not exceed 24 within the contract period.
Note: Full service to be provided during high level ministerial visits or events irrespective of weekends or holidays.

5.1.Mainline & Financial
English language dailies: Times of India, Hindustan Times, Hindu, Indian Express, Pioneer, Statesman, Asian Age, Telegraph, Tribune, Economic Times, Financial Express, Business Standard, Business Line, HT Mint, Mail Today and DNA. New Indian Express, Deccan Herald and Deccan Chronicle from South India. Sunday Guardian and Sunday Standard.
5.2.Vernacular
Major Hindi dailies: Jagaran, Dainik Bhaskar, Punjab Kesri, Amar Ujala, Tribune, Rajasthan Patrika, Rashtriya Sahara, Navbharat Times, Janasatta, Hindustan and Nai Duniya and National Duniya
Urdu newspapers: Rashtriya Sahara, Akhbar-e Mashriq, Mashriqi Awaz, Sahafat, Hindustan express, Hamara Samaj, Jadeed Mail, Jadeed Khabar, Hamara Maqsad, Khaberein, and web editions of Siasat, Munsif, Etemaad, Kashmir Uzma, Ittelat, Al Safa Inquilab.

The services will be broadly evaluated under the following two points, half yearly, post contract sign-off:
a)Timely delivery of media briefs as per Point no.2
b)Any missing slugs as per Point no.3
