Description

The partner agency concerned uses the application form to provide information on the organisation and the project. The final application, if approved, is attached to the contract and constitutes a binding document. The application can be sent as a letter. If it is sent as an attachment to an email, the cover letter must be in a pdf-format to show the original signature.

B. Information on the proposed project

The applicant must provide the Embassy with an application accompanied by a detailed project plan and a budget.

The application should provide at least the following information:

  1. Reason(s) for launching the project,
  2. Previous experience of the organisation in the same sector and same theme,
  3. Objective(s) of the project,
  4. Description of the approach: how the project intends to create sustainable changes, what methods are utilised, how different social groups and interests are taken into consideration,
  5. Description of the activities,
  6. Implementation plan,
  7. Schedule for the programme and each task,
  8. Beneficiaries (as well-defined as possible),
  9. Expected results (outputs, outcomes and impact) as concrete as possible,
  10. How crosscutting issues like gender equality, reduction of inequality and climate sustainability are considered (where relevant),
  11. Risk management plan of the project,
  12. General information on how the financial management is arranged in the organisation (board of the organisation; bookkeeping system; payment process; assets management; procurement process),
  13. Budget in detail (unit costs included; salary costs detailed),
  14. Possible existing financing from other agencies,
  15. Description of the personnel involved and project management; procurement of new personnel,
  16. Description of salaries and other benefits,
  17. Monitoring arrangements; reporting schedule,
  18. Auditing arrangements.
