Title:Design and Development of Steering Mechanism for an ATV (All Terrain Vehicles) & Feasibility of Application of Touch Sensitive Pad Technology for Steering Actuation-
Scope:
The Steering system of any automobile is an important aspect without which there is no meaning of driving one.
It plays a vital role in racing cars where steering the vehicle appropriately is a matter of winning or losing. Through this project we made an attempt to study the designing of the steering system of an ATV.
Key Highlights:
Successfully tested steering mechanism in all terrain vehicle fabricated in the workshop by obtaining values from the various calculations we performed.
Significantly contributed towards the development of the existing steering system, we have proposed an innovation by introduction of a digital interface between the user and the steering mechanism.
