BEFORE INITIATING GRANT PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT

Instructions for Part I: Before proceeding with grant proposal development for grants over $50,000, obtain the signature(s) from the appropriate district administrator(s) to indicate their comfort with the project or program idea for which you are seeking grant funding. For a proposal to be implemented at a single school, signatures should be obtained from the principal and the Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Schools or Middle/High Schools. For a proposal to be implemented at multiple schools and/or by district-level departments, signatures should be obtained from all (lead) principals of the participating schools and from the appropriate Executive Director and/or Assistant Superintendent.

DURING PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT, BUT BEFORE SUBMISSION TO THE FUNDER

Instructions for Part II: Before finalizing your proposal, obtain the signatures of those administrators listed below whose department or school will have a significant role in implementing the proposed project. This completed form must be the cover sheet on all proposals submitted for signature by the Superintendent and/or Board of Education representative. (For proposals requiring only school-level signatures on the grant application, keep the original version of this completed form in your project file and send a copy to the Grants and Fund Development Office Room 201-C, Doyle Building).

I have had the chance for timely input into design of the proposed project and am comfortable with the implementation responsibilities expected of my department/school should this proposal be funded.
