These sessions are designed to discuss the National Federations Mechanics by position. Discussions will include why the National Federation wants officials positioned in certain places. Film Study and PowerPoint will be utilized for these sessions.

1:00 Getting Ready for the Next Play – The Art of Anticipation
1. Referee - Kicks Out of End Zone – 1st and 10 at A’s 1 Yard Line.
2. Umpire – Screen Pass/Draw – Scrimmage Kicks
3. Linesman and Line Judge - Goal line – In and Out Field Awareness
4. Back Judge – Scrimmage Kicks – Safety/Touchback – Timining Awareness

2:15 Break Out Session – 3 Groups (Check Name Badge for Number) Attendee’s will rotate through each session. Session will be 30 minutes
Session No. 1: Free Kicks – with focus on short and on-side kicks.
Session No. 2: What Are You Watching?
· In this session we will discuss gray areas of coverage where several officials could have made the call. We will use film clip to aid the discussion on who should be looking and who should make the call.
Session No. 3: The Passing Game – OPI – DPI – Illegal Forward Passes
