Miss Khan's Class Contract
1. Students must be in their assigned seats when the bell rings. Do not get
Out of your seat without permission.
2. Do not talk when the teacher is talking. You must raise your hand before
speaking.
3. Bring all needed material to class - notebook, textbook, paper, and pencil.
Students who do not bring needed material to class will receive an after
School detention.
4. Be respectful of everyone and everything in the classroom. Please do not
Throw things in the classroom.
5. No swearing, yelling, teasing, or whining.
6. Use the time given to you to work on homework wisely. Students who
Abuse their time by not working or disrupting class will receive an after
School detention.
7. It is the student's responsibility to get missed assignments and make-up tests.
8. No eating or drinking in the classroom.
9. Students can only listen to an Ipod if Miss Khan gives permission.
10. Students must show work to receive full credit. Assignments with
no work shown will receive no credit.
All students must keep a math notebook that will be graded at the end of each grading period.
Class will begin with a warm-up and can be retaken after school within a week. Students who are absent are exempt and the students who are tardy will not be able to retake the quiz. Talking will result in an automatic zero.
Consequences for Disrupting Class
1st time- warning
2nd time- fill out behavior plan in the hall
3rd time- responsibility room
4th time- office and a meeting with parents
Late-Work: Not accepted.
Miss Khan’s Policies
Make-up Work: It is the student’s responsibility to get missing assignments from the binder. The assignment must be turned in the next day after it is received. If you are absent more than one day then you will be receive an extension.
Make-up Tests and Quizzes
Quizzes and Tests will be made up during class the day you return.
Cheating
If you are caught cheating on an assignment, quiz, or test, you will receive an automatic zero! If you are in possession of another person’s assignment, that is the same as
cheating. Both students will receive a zero percent. If you need help, ask me. Do not borrow your neighbor’s assignment.

A 93.5 – 98.4%
A- 89.5 – 93.4%
B+ 86.5 – 89.4%
B 82.5 – 86.4%
B- 79.5 - 82.4%
C+ 76.5 – 79.4%
C 72.5 – 76.4%
C- 69.5 – 72.4%
D+ 66.5 – 69.4%
D 62.5 – 66.4%
D- 59.5 – 62.4%
F 0 – 59.4%
