RULES
1. Contestant must be a resident of Arkansas. This is an open pageant to all counties in Arkansas. This is a fund raiser for scholarships for Miss AR River. This is a natural beauty pageant, not a glitz pageant. Pageant dress only!
2. Check-in begin at 5:30pm.
3. Please bring contestant dressed for pageant.
4. There is no official rehearsal. The doors will open at 5:30 for those who would like to practice. It is the basic pattern.
5. Enter from the center of the stage, go to right X, center X, left X and exit off the left side of the stage.
6. Judges decisions are final. Score sheets will not be handed out after pageant. All score sheets are destroyed after the event by auditor.
7. Display of poor sportsmanship and/or unbecoming conduct, and interference and/or disturbance, or any problem created by a contestant, chaperone, parent, relative or even a supporter of a contestant could result in disqualification of the contestant not only from this year’s pageant, but also from future pageants.
8. Doors open to public at 6:30pm. Youth Pageant Admission will be $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 12.
9. Current title holders are not eligible to compete, must wait until you reach next age division.
10. PLEASE DO NOT USE Curling Irons anywhere in building without permission especially in lobby areahallway. Allowed only backstage. Please do not use hallway as a dressing area, vendors will be set up.
11. Entry fee is non-refundable once submitted due to purchase of awards, shirts,etc.
12. Winners are asked to participate in any events in the area during her reign. Parades, festivals, etc.
13. All correspondence will be done by email about pageant once entry is received. Please make sure email is readable.
14. There will be a photographer to take photos of contestant. Please have the order form ready to give to her at check-in. NO flash photography during pageant while contestants are onstage.
Clothing Requirements:
All divisionsshould wear pageant style dress.
PLEASE no hairpieces, flippers, or excessive makeup.
ONLY 1 person is allowed backstage with contestantuntil 6:45, one parent is allowed to stay with divisions 1, 2, and 3 until start of pageant. There are several ladies backstage who will be with the children. Please do not pick up your child until her division has been crowned. We need to get photos for the paper. (Press Argus)
