Tri-State High School Honors Band at UW-Platteville

Kassandra Palzkill and Abigail Richardson were selected to participate in the Tri-State High School Honors Band at UW-Platteville. 95 students were selected to work with composer/conductor Dr. Andrew Boysen from the University of New Hampshire. The students rehearsed all day Friday and Saturday in the Center for the Arts. They attended sectionals and had great master classes with the university faculty. They had a great time working with Dr. Boysen. Our music department Facebook page has some photos posted from the event.

Kassandra and Abby were among some of the best musicians in the Tri-State area. Over half of the musicians performed in their state solo and ensemble festivals. I am very proud of their hard work and dedication over the weekend. Both girls are very active in our school and are very successful in all they do. They represented our school very well, and I am very proud of them. -Mr. Lehnherr
