MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF LADOCK PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON 12 DECEMBER 2016

Following the notice the Meeting of Ladock Parish Council was held on Monday 12 December 2016 at Grampound Road School commencing at 7.30pm.

Cllrs Hartley (Chairman), Baines, Barker, Dodwell, Hoskin, Howes, Jones, Mack, Waitz and Weller. Also in attendance were CCllr Eathorne Gibbons and the Clerk.

2 FULL COUNCIL MEETING OF 14 NOVEMBER 2016. Proposed by Cllr Howes, seconded by Cllr Mack that the Minutes be signed by a true copy. Unanimously approved and signed by the Chairman.

Proposed by Cllr Barker, seconded by Cllr Hartley to object to application due to A. inadequate parking, B. over development of site and C. not in keeping. Majority in favour. OBJECT

7 COMMUNITY BENEFITS

7.1 PROPOSAL TO CREATE NEW BRIDLEWAY/PATH NEAR GRAMPOUND ROAD. Cllr Jones advised landowner agreed to sell strip of land to join Trenowth and Trelion lanes. Fencing cost approx. £6000. Solicitors: Bray & Dilks £750 (plus land reg and plan). Total £1050/£1100. T Hoskin £3-500 (plus land reg and plan). Proposed by Cllr Dodwell, seconded by Cllr Baines to proceed with purchase of land to create bridleway. Vote 8:0, 2 abstained. ONGOING

7.2 LADOCK HIGHWAY. Highway committee meeting with Viv Bidgood tomorrow.ONGOING

7.4 SPEEDWATCH. Awaiting response from Elaine Hartley, Devon & Cornwall Police Force Speed Watch Co-ordinator. ONGOING

8 UPDATE ON MULTI USE/TENNIS COURT. Cllr Weller liaising with CCllr, who may be able to access match funding. ONGOING

10 CONSIDER PURCHASING VILLAGE ENTRY SIGNS. Agree in principle, awaiting final cost.ONGOING

19 APPOINTMENT OF INTERNAL AUDITOR. Proposed by Cllr Hartley, seconded by Cllr Jones that Ken Abraham/South West Internal Audit be reappointed. All in favour. RESOLVED

20 APPROVAL OF PAYMENTS. The following payments, totalling £648.97, were approved and signed by Cllrs Hartley and Weller.
