The meeting of the BMW Committee No. 2 constituted for deciding Authorization under BMW Rules, was held on 13.12.2011.The decisions recommended by the BMW Committee No-2, agenda wise(Total No.196) are at annexure I are summarized as follows:

4.Decisionsrecommendedw.r.t.AgendaNo.4, 42 Casesof the Health Care Establishments which didnot applyforrenewal of authorization under the BMW Rules (including 40 cases in which individual letters / reminderwere issued earlier) are at S.No.154 to 195ofAnnexure –I and are summarized as follows:

(i)1Case,Authorization granted under BMW Rules(S.No. 165). This unit applied for renewal of authorization w.r.t letters issued and applications were received by DPCC on 07.12.11.

(ii) In rest of the 41 Cases of Annexure I, Show Cause Notice u/s 5 of EPA for closure of the unit and fordisconnection of electricityandwatersupplytotheunit was recommended by the Committee.

Decision recommended for grant of Authorization under BMW Rules in45 Cases of HCEs. Inspection is to be carried out as recommended by the Committee in 4 Cases of HCEs.12Cases, Directions u/s 5 of EPA for closure of the unit and for disconnection of electricity and water supply to the unit.
