Minutes of Roma Pony Club Meeting,

held at the Commonwealth Hotel, 11th October 2012

Meeting opened: 7.010pm

Present: Steve Swires, Tracie Dean, Morgan Farndon, Hazel Krienke, Karen Brumby.

Chief Instructor’s report:
There were no Rallys this month so Morgan reported back about the Sorrenson and Murray Cup Shields. Results were first day Murray Cup Tamika Brumby winning her age Group, Charly Anderson getting 3rd over all, Lachlan Anderson winning his age Group, Morgan Farndon winning her age group as well
Sorrenson Shield, Roma won the march past and the Shield for the day, with Tamika Brumby winning her age group, Charly Anderson getting 2nd for her age group, Renae Brumby getting 2nd for her age group, Mia Johnston winning her age group, Neil Spinks won his age group, Morgan Farndon winning her age group. Charly Anderson gave a Lovely Speech.
Bridget Jamieson got the Never giving up Jumping award and Grace Jamieson got the Great Sportsmanship award
General Business:
  • We would like to give Hazel a Big Thank you for all her work she has put into getting all the repairs and extensions done.
  • Karen to get paper hand towel dispensers
  • Ruth pulled out of the refresher school but Kathy Graham will take over for her
  • Andrew McGilvray Resigned from his position as Grounds man which we would like to thank him for all his work he has done over the last 2 years
  • We have decided it safer to shut the front gate during Rally days Steve will organize someone to shut it once we start the rally
  • AGM 9th November 2012 all positions declared vacant 7pm Roma pony club grounds Please bring nibblies to share
Any other Business:
  • Pony Club camp will be the 8th and 9th December cost will be $30 per person and if we could all donate some cakes or slices (Get ready for a fun packed weekend Morgan has organised someone to make rope halters with the kids)

  • Karen to check with Gary about Toilet Signs
  • 20th 21st October Instructors Refresher/Preschool
  • 27th October Injune Jones Shield nominations needed now
