1. / Silence was observed for all members of the association, the Royal Anglian Regiment and their families who had passed away during 2009

Matters arising from previous meeting:

The visit to the Birmingham Tattoo was recorded as being a successful event.
J Summers thanked the branch for their concern over his recent illness and wished to record the fact that the service he had received from the NHS staff was superb.
4. / Treasurers Report: Read and accepted by all. The treasurer reported that a further 385 shares had been purchased in the Lloyds Banking group @37p each. Total £147.45 / I.Simpson
5. / Welfare Report:
It was reported that Geoff Waddsley was now resident in St Marks Nursing Home in Waddington.
6. / New Members: Cyril Key welcomed 3 new members to the branch, Paul Williamson, Brian Taylor and Dave Healy, all from 4/6th Bttn R. Lincolnshire Regiment (TA) / M Reams
7. / Correspondence:
Letters of thanks had been received by Wally Hibbard and Derek Hocking thanking them for their support from the Not Forgotten Association. £17,500 had been raised.
Cyril Key informed the meeting that Chris & Val Spring were organising a trip to the National Arboretum on 6th May 2010. The cost would be about £16 and would include the entrance fee, a meal and the coach fare. A deposit of £5 is required and proformas are available from C Spring.
8 / Any Other Business:
The Chairman reminded members to keep the branch informed of any change of address details as soon as they were known about both for themselves and other members.
He then went on to thank the regular members for supporting the meetings and coffee mornings and other events throughout 2009 and wished everyone a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The next coffee morning would be Mon 25th January at 10:00am at Sobraon Barracks.
