Death of member Ken Newman.
All members are advised that retired Sergeant 3rd Class Kenneth Robert Newman passed away on Sunday, 17 May 2015 aged 74 years.
Records indicate that Sergeant 3rd Class Newman was performing duty at Enfield at the time of his retirement on 17 October 1996, completing 30 years service with NSW Police Force.
A funeral service was held at North Chapel, Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens and Crematorium, North Ryde on Thursday, 21 May 2015.
Ken was a significant member of the NSW IPA having joined in 1969.

Bi-Annual NEB Meeting held in Canberra April 2015.
On Friday 01/05/2015 to Sunday 03/05/2015 NEB delegates gathered at AFP College during which a number of topic were discussed as per the NEC Agenda. Nil actions outstanding for NSW Region.

National AGM, NEB & NEC Meetings Weekend - Perth
2015 National AGM, NEB & NEC Meetings Weekend will be hosted by Western Australian Region from 22nd October 2015 to 25th October 2015. Itinerary, Registration Forms and booking information is available on website.

Christmas in July Dinner to held on Saturday 18th July 2015.
Christmas in July function to be held on Saturday 18th July at Baba Charlie Malaysian/Thai Restaurant, 30 Lime Street, Darling Harbour. Cost is $30 members, $40 non-members excluding alcohol. The restaurant is fully licensed.

Upcoming Tours.
May 2015 – Turkey. This tour was fully booked within a record time and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Further tours to be scheduled for 2016 will now be posted on IPA Australia website. Future tours will be open to all serving Police officers across Australia.
