Minutes of LVOTSL 25 August 2004 Meeting at the Bethlehem Jeff’s

Absent – HFA.

Meeting was called to order at 8:02 PM.

Previous Meeting Minutes:

Minutes from 10 May 2004 meeting were read. A correction was made to the number of games Roman Urbanczuk was suspended - reduced from 6 to 3. Phone # to report scores listed incorrectly. Number is 610.390.4998.

2004-2005 Season is the 17th Season for LVOTSL

The league would like to thank the retiring secretary, Tim Golden for his many years of service.

Vice President’s Report (Bill Wagstaff)

1.  Format for upcoming season to be determined based on number of teams.

2.  Tentative schedule will be emailed to team reps for review and/or changes.

3.  RCN to change team name to Kenbro and to play home games at field located behind prison. Kickers changing home field to Creamery Field.

4.  Over 40 league is projected to start September 14. Games to be split between Lehigh County fields and Saucon C.

Treasure’s Report

Web-Site Manager (Fred Farbod)

1.  League Dues for 2004-2005 Season in amount of $75.00 to be collected.

2.  The leagues checking account balance is at $2,390.66 and the savings account contains $3,305.01. Copy of itemized expenses in the leagues financial statement is attached to the minutes.

3.  Phoenix owes league fee from previous season ’03-’04. Phoenix also owes for 2 games forfeited and a missed league meeting. Total $255. RCN owes a total of $150.00 for 2 forfeited games. Jeff’s Demo’s owes $75.00 for forfeited game. Inca Peru owes $119.00 for a forfeited game and the referee fee.

4.  Web site is updated with team uniform colors and final standing for 2003-2004.

5.  Newly created referee report to be completed at the field immediately after the game.

Game Commissioners (Dave Leidig)

1.  Questions concerning teams, fields, and/or referee reports can be made by contacting game commissioner

Registrar’s Report (Alfredo Perez)

1.  Player registration forms and team line up sheets available for download on league web site.

2.  Forms can be faxed to Alfredo at 610.264.6758. Originals must then be mailed.

Referee Assignor (Hamdija)

1.  Referee fees for 2004-2005 to be increased (see New Business)

2.  Game Jeff’s Demo’s vs Hostwindows 19 June referee fee due $44.00.

Old Business (Tim Gilman)

1.  Bylaw being compiled and are on target for completion for the spring.

New Business (Tim Gilman)

  1. League championship trophy for 2003-2004 “A” Division presented to Olimpa SC. Inca-Peru awarded trophy as “B” Division champions.
  2. Motion passed that Referees are to use newly created Referee Game report form.
  3. Report to contain final score, yellow and/or red cards with offense defined.
  4. Both rosters from home and away teams to be attached with referee report.
  5. Home teams is responsible to collect referee report and rosters and send to web site manager
  6. Fees for 2004-2005 as follows:
  7. (1) Referee = $60.00 (1/2 split from each team $30.00)
  8. (2) Referees = $50.00 from each team
  9. Motion passed to shorten 2004-2005 to an 18 game schedule
  10. 2004-2005 LVOTSL season scheduled to begin 18 September

Executive Board Meeting Review

1.  Board recommends that Inca-Peru be expelled from league after numerous league violations and pattern of violent play.

  1. Motion carries and effective as of 25 August 2004 to remove Inca-Peru from LVOTSL.

2.  Phoenix’s probation to be continued for the upcoming fall season.

3.  Next league meeting is scheduled for 8 November at the FL Smith Inc., 7:30pm.
