Minutes of ErmingtonVillage Fund Association Committee

Held on [03.04.17.] at the Crooked Spire

Present:

1. Apologies: Sue Cranmore, SusanElliott, Kate Holliday.

2. Minutes of Previous Meeting

The minutes of the previous meeting held on 27.02.17.were unanimously approved and signed by the Chair as a true and accurate record.

3. Matters Arising None

3.Financial Report Jim gave a summary ofaccounts, the insurance for the Fair has been

paid. The deposit for fireworks to be paid, it was agreed to increase the cost by £100.

The bill for the large Gazebo and tables are not taken into account the balance stands at

£6007. 97.

4. Past events. None

5. Forthcoming events 2017 .Easter Fun event.Arrangements were made to purchase

Eggs, organise the route for hunt, and who wears the Rabbit and Chicken suits.

5.1.Flower pot festival. Find sources for pots.

5.2. Summer Fair. The Fancy dress competition will not be themed but open to come as you

want.

5.3.Dog show. Jose reported that plans are underway with categories for all, a Vet will

be the judge, rosettes to be given in all categories.

Crooked Tempo have been booked. Other bands need to be confirmed.

Jeremy has a possible band, Envy of Angels confirmation and fee to be confirmed.

Di will contact musicians she knows to play early evening.

Jim has had the Draw tickets printed ready to go in next Parish magazine, donations for

Prizes needed.

Last orders 11pm.

Di to start contacting stall holders.

5.4 Totnes band. Di in contact and trying to organise concert waiting for dates.

Grant asked if some of the takings from concert could be donated towards the church

clock renovation, he explained how much the work will cost. We agreed that the hire of

Gazebo’s for a fund raising garden party will be free.

6. Any Other Business. Di to contact school to see if they still want notice board.
