Present: Jerry Edwards, President; Dennis Wolterding, Vice President; Laura Crabtree, Secretary; Jeff Stearns, Treasurer; Adrienne Kritz-Geller, Director at Large 1I; Don McBride, Director at Large I; Steve Koren, fundraising Director, Members and Guests.

The Meeting was called to order by President Dennis Wolterding. Welcoming remarks were made by Community Outreach, Fellowship, and Education Director Don McBride, who also led the assembly in The Master’s Prayer of Avatar Meher Baba. Approval of the minutes of the Annual Meeting of December 12, 2015was deferred due to needed revisions.

We started the year with $6.074.00. As of Nov. 28, 2016 we have $5,386.88 in the bank. Please see Jeff Stearns for

President Dennis Wolterding gave his Annual Report. A motion to approve the Report was made and seconded from the floor. The motion was approved by the membership without discussion.

Fundraising Director Steve Koren gave a Presentation : “Circle of Giving”.

Secretary Laura Crabtree gave a presentation on the new Circle of Friends web site

highlighting new ways of contributing to The Circle of Friends.

The Annual Election of Directors was conducted by the Nominating Committee: Laura Carbtree, Proxy Agent, and (Marsha Forman), membervolunteer. The following Directors ran unopposed and were re-elected:

Vice President: Jerry Edwards 52 YES votes, 2 abstentions.

Treasurer: Jeff Stearns 53 YES votes, 1 abstention

Service Director: Judy Mangold 53 YES votes, 1 abstention

Director at Large II: Adrienne Kritz-Geller 53 YES votes, 1 abstention

After announcement of the election results, there was a member forum.

Then Vice President Jerry Edwards introduced Speaker Naosherwan Nalavala,

Publisher of The Glow Magazine and Advisor to Avatar Meher Baba’s Circle of Friends, who gave a talk about his time with Avatar Meher Baba.

Total 50/50 raffle donations amounted to $150.00and $75.00 was awarded to Dorothy Weiss, the winner. The second raffle prize, a music CD was awarded (to Ambika Sharan).
