JEN explained about the WALK/RUN the MINI-QUILTS event. Someone from that committee will try to attend each of the BTBQ meetings to report on progress. Theme is ‘GENEROSTIY IN MOTION.” Kids will be making 50-60 12’x12’ mini-quilts that will be displayed downtown, along routes, and then auctioned off at the park after the event.

BRAD asked if the pledge sheet could be sent to him for display on our website as soon as it’s completed.

DAVE KOELLER will bring suggestions for signage, crossing guards, etc for the 5(blue) & 10k(orange) routes in March.

MEETING DATES – We’re going to try Tuesdays this year—seems to be fewer conflicts and greater opportunities for many to become more involved. Thank you Nancy, for reserving a room in the basement of the courthouse for these dates! Room location may change—we’ll try to identify where we are! PLEASE PUT IN YOUR CALENDARS!!

BUSINESS CARDS, BROCHURES: NANCY has ordered 2000 more cards and 500 brochures. You may pick them up at Nancy’s office next week or at our next meeting.

AD IN VISITOR’S GUIDE: copies of guide were issued and discussion about making posters based on the ad on pg. 23.

This ad will also be in the community ed magazine this spring.

A special edition of the VISITOR’S GUIDE was presented to GREG STURM who has finally fulfilled his dream of becoming a centerfold. GREG – you’ll need to bring your copy to each meeting for additional previews.

(yes I’m serious! Don’t want anyone on this committee to miss it!)

PROMOTIONAL EVENTS: we have lots of events already covered. Will have an updated list on March 1

Think about whether we want to have representation at the St. Patty’s Day Parade
