Textile Center Update The common threads exhibit is up with many of our members having pieces in the show. Sharon would love to have pictures of each to put in the newsletter.

Thoughts on 2017 meetings: We will do show and tell by row with a sheet to sign at the front of the room with a check if the member does NOT want the picture of her work in the newsletter. Board members will be asked to bring an old and a new quilt to show during this time so the membership can get to know us a bit better.

2017 board meetings:

We will meet March, May, July, Sept and Nov. and have a new and retiring board gathering in December at Carol Mashuga’s home. Carol will send out a form for us all to fill out to find a working day of the month when we can meet. We will meet at 6:30 and decided that the meal and finger foods took time out of our meeting and so we will try to just have the host and maybe one other person bring dessert. The host can do coffee (we did not discuss but folks can bring wine??)

The next meeting will be at Leah Doherty’s home with the date to be determined.

Secretary, Leah Doherty
