e-Konsulat Cookies Policy

1.  “e-Konsulat” service is understood as all Internet services available on the e-konsulat.gov.pl domain. Other Internet services which belong to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs may have separate cookies policies.

2.  “e-Konsulat User” is every person who uses the service via the Internet.

3.  „Cookies files” (the so - called ‘cookies’) are computer data and text files in particular, which are stored in the data terminal equipment of an e-Konsulat User and are designed to use service websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, duration of their storage on the data terminal equipment and a unique number.

4.  The entity in charge of uploading and accessing cookies on the data terminal equipment of the e-Konsulat User is the service operator – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at in Al. J.Ch. Szucha 23, 00-580 Warszawa.

5.  Within the e-Konsulat there may be two types of cookies used: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files, which are stored on the User’s data terminal equipment until logging off, closing the website or turning off a web browser. Persistent cookies are stored on the User’s data terminal equipment for a period of time specified in the cookies files’ parameters or until they are deleted by the User.

6.  Frequently, a software used for browsing websites (Internet browser) allows default storage of cookies files in the User’s data terminal equipment. Internet browsing settings may be altered by the User in such a manner that they either automatically block cookies files or inform about their every single postage on the e-Konsulat User’s equipment.

7.  The e-Konsulat provider informs that upon disabling the cookies files in the browser, a user will not have any access to the basic functionalities of the service.
