Investigation of equal thickness thermoformed plastic packaging

A.L. Sokolskyi, Ph.D., I.V. Slisarenko, NTUU KPI,Kyiv

The methodology of process improvement thermoformed plastic packaging is proposed. The results of experimental and numerical researches for the implementation of this technique are shown. It gives ability to obtainthe polymer packing with uniform wall thickness and potential savings of polymer raw materials due to its rational use.

Packaged foods in flexible packaging materials

V.L. Shreder, PC Ukrplastic, A.N. Gavva, Dr., NUFT, V.N. Krivoshey, Ph.D., IAC Upakovka, Kyiv

In addition to commonly used packaging machines such as flow-pack for piece and small sized food products in some cases, used wrapping in two or more layers of flexible packaging material. A significant proportion of the various types of food products packaged in ready-made bags. Packaging in packets can be performed in the atmosphere or in a vacuum and modified atmosphere. In this article, the authors estimate processes and design of the machine for packaging food products such as in multilayer packaging wrapping and a pre-manufactured soft packets.

Resistance to stripping Braille elements in digital and thermographic printing

S.F. Gavenko, Dr, M.T. Labetskaya, UkrainianPrintingAcademy, Lviv

The authors investigated the quality of the relief elements Braille type printing on paper and board digital and thermographic methods. They showed that the printing digitally Braille elements more resistant to peeling, as applied thermographic method. The authors analyzed and systematized the factors affecting the quality of Braille elements deposited digitally printed.

Analysis of the composition and methodology for the synthesis of packaging equipment

A.N. Gavva, Dr., L.A. Krivoplyas-Volodina, Ph.D., NationalUniversity of Food Technologies, Kyiv

Prerequisite for the development of packaging equipment is the analysis and synthesis designs and lines of existing machine, the definition of the strengths and weaknesses of individual functional modules. One of the ways to solve the problem of creating a new generation of packaging machines — is use the modular design principle, according to which any part of the system is synthesized from individual modules.

This article are analyzed the ways to improve the efficiency of packaging equipment and the direction of its development on the basis composition and synthesis of intra-machine communication and packaging lines.

Mechatronic modules of the linear displacement for packaging equipment

M. Yakymchuk, , Ph.D., NationalUniversity of Food Technologies, Kyiv

Today products in the group packing are in great domestic demand. By the nature of the structure and control circuits, the equipment for bulk packaging in terms of its development can be divided into three generations. The third generation of equipment is just beginning to develop grow and needs understanding and working out of its construction by introducing aggregate-based modular on based mechatronic modules. First achievements at this direction, as practice shows, appear at the point of transformation of quantity into quality. Such approach makes it possible to reduce term for the design of new equipment and ensure its rapid changeover when changing technological or technical work environment.

Who pays for the packaging waste in Europe?

R.Made, European Institute of Environmental Economics, Vienna (Austria)

The author has considered the modern management systems of solid waste in general and packaging waste in particular. He stoped on the main goals, which are an important prerequisite for their creation. Particular attention he is paid to developing the concept of responsibility, which adopted the concept of extended producer responsibility. The author shows the main model systems for managing packaging waste generated in European countries on the basis of this concept, and led the main results of their implementation.
