Junior Team Tennis is a USTA Program hosted by GTC that brings kids with all levels of tennis ability together to have fun and get experience by forming team to play singles and doubles against other neighboring teams. Teams will play home and away matches at Gates and other nearby sites. All matches are played on Mondays.
Try out dates and Parent meeting:March 31 and April 7, April 14 at 1:00-2:00pm. All players are advised to attend a tryout even if competed in JTT before in order to be placed to correct level. Parent meeting is held in the end of try out.
Practice Information: Practices will be held on Fridays 4:00-5:30pm. For match play practice, all team players should participate in Sunday Pizza Party5:00-7:00pm.
Match Dates and times (Match schedule available to view by June 1):
6/11, 6/18, 6/25, 7/2, 7/9, 7/16 and 7/23
State Championship: August 3-5
10 & Under: 8:00 am, 12 & Under: 9:30am, 14 & Under: 11am, 18 & Under: 12:30 pm
Match Format: 1 singles match and 1 doubles match per Monday event. Two out of three no-ad sets –10&Under (Challenger B, Challenger A, Championship) and 12&UnderFutures divisions play a short set (first to 4 games).
Deadlines: Online registration at tennislink.usta.com is due Sunday, April 22. Registration and full payment is due to Gates April 27.

Team Parents Needed!
Every team requires at least one team parent who will confirm matches with opposing teams, reschedule matches if needed, attend all matches, report match scores online in a timely manner, and ensure players and their parents know the rules for junior team tennis.
