Minidoka Pilgrimage College Scholarship Application
In an effort to continue to provide an experience of social justice in action, and to create diverse input, participation and energy, the Minidoka Pilgrimage Committee, Nisei Veterans Committee / Nisei Veterans Foundation and Seattle University are proud to offer this unique scholarship opportunity to students.
Student scholarship recipients are asked to assist with work activities before and duringthe 2015 Pilgrimage as well as assist with fundraising planning and community outreach. The 2015 Day of Remembrance Taiko Fundraiser is schedule for Sunday, February 15, 2015. All scholarship recipients are encouraged to be involved in the planning of subsequent Pilgrimages. The 2015 pilgrimage will be from June 25th - June 28th.

1. What are your past and current volunteer and/or work experience?

What ideas do you have for your project if you awarded a scholarship? For example, past projects include videotaping, photography, poetry, creating an evaluation survey for the Pilgrimage. (Please explain and include relevant experiences. Please note SU students may be asked to present at the Day of Remembrance program at SU.)
