Per Article 10-3-1 of the Licensed Negotiated Agreement at the end of each school year the teachers shall have the option of carrying over to the next year Personal Days or having them paid out at the substitute’s daily rate. The daily rate of pay for a substitute teacher is $90.00.
Reimbursement for personal leave will be paid with the June 25th payroll. If you would like to be reimbursed according to the above noted article, notification in writing MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE PAYROLL OFFICE NO LATER THAT JUNE 1, 2016. If no notification is received by that date, the leave will be carried over to the 2016-2017 school year with a maximum availability per Negotiated Agreement. Only those wanting reimbursement need to make notification in writing to the payroll office, which must include your name, date, days to be reimbursed and your signature.
