AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
This week your child should have brought home application forms for our After School Clubs up to Christmas 2010. If your child has already had a place at an after school club you can still- reapply. Even if your child is on the waiting list for a club you still need to fill in the form to indicate that you still wish your child to join the club. As before, places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and priority will be given to the children on the waiting list from this term.
If anyone has any cookery utentils (bowls, spoons, etc) that they would like to donate to the kitchen, please send them in to the school office. This will help us with the Cookery Club.
Morning football
Unfortunately Mr Crowther is still absent from school so there will be no morning football until further notice.
/ WHAT DO THE BELLS MEAN?When the first bell sounds in school at 8.50am it means that the children should line up outside their doors ready to come in to school. They will be escorted in and when the second bell rings at 8.55am the children should be in their classrooms sat in their seats ready to start the day.
Your child is LATEif they are not in school by 8.55am! /
HOW TO REPORT YOUR CHILD ABSENT FROM SCHOOL
If your child is not going to be in school, for any reason, please ensure that you contact
school on the first day of your child’s absence by
-telephoning us on 01706 643973 and leaving a message (you can do this any time of day or night!)
-you can e-mail us on
-you can call into school
It is really important that we have this information as soon as possible. It helps us in a number of ways.
-we can let teachers know of your child’s absence
-it means we can put the correct coding in the register (all absences are recorded as unauthorised if we do not have the correct information)
-it also means that if your child failed to come to school we could alert you at the earliest possible time.
