MILLS COUNTY CHRISTMAS PARADE OF LIGHTS 2015

The Mills County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Goldthwaite invites everyone to be a part of the 21stthAnnual “Christmas Parade of Lights.” The choice for this year’s parade is “Traditional Christmas” We want you, your club, group, business, or organization to be a part of this exciting event.

The festivities are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, in downtown Goldthwaite at 6:00 P.M. We will have judging of entries during the parade.Entry forms must be turned in no later than November 29, 2015, to allow time for lineup preparation.

A description of your entry, and your sponsor should be turned in with your entry, so the public announcer can recognize your group. All information regarding the parade route and other pertinent data will be provided when you check in at the parade site at the First Baptist Church parking lot on 1PstP Street. You may check in beginning at 4:30 P.M.

Don’t miss out on being a part of this evening of enchantment, and help us save “Christmas” for the whole family! For safety, please do not throw candy from your float. You are encouraged to have walkers walk alongside your float and pass out candy on the sideline. Thank You!

Conditioned upon consideration of being an accepted vendor, concessionaire, exhibitor and Parade float participant, the undersigned hereby waives any right which he/she may have or may have in the future for injuries or damage occurring or caused by being a participant and does hereby release: The Mills County, Goldthwaite Area Chamber of Commerce And Agriculture, Inc., and/or any of its officers, directors and staff, The City of Goldthwaite and/or any of its officers/employees, Mills County and/or any of its officers/employees and the Goldthwaite Independent School District and/or any of its officers or employees, and any persons or entity having ownership, control or possession of grounds during the Mills County Parade of Lights and/or The Arts & Crafts Show, setup, duration and cleanup, including past and present affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, partners, principals, employees, attorneys, insurers, agents, servants, volunteers, successors, heirs and assigns from any and all claims, demands, obligations, losses, cause of action, costs, expenses, attorney’s fees and liabilities or any nature whatsoever, for any damages or injury occurring to the undersigned arising out of before, during and after said participation in above mentioned events, whether based on contract, tort, or statutory or other legal or equitable theory of recovery, whether known or unknown.
