Welcome to Forest Glade FC!
This letter is intended to give you a little more information about Forest Glade FC.
If you are new to Forest Glade, we were founded in 1992 and in 1999 we were the first local football club to locate at Barleylands. We are a Charter Standard Community Club, which is the highest level that a club can reach. This means we have all the right processes and practices in place, including CRBs and coaching qualifications for all of our managers and coaches. The club has some of the best facilities in the area and have been extremely successful in developing the younger age groups.
The club currently has teams ranging from U5 through to a Vets Team! We also have two dedicated girl’s teams. The club participates in six local leagues.
Most teams train at Barleylands on a Saturday morning, and we do have some limited floodlighting so that teams can train in the evenings during the week. Other than the Vets/Adult football, the matches take place on Sundays.
As well as our four mini soccer pitches and five youth/adult pitches, the ground also has a dedicated training area, clubhouse with café, changing rooms, referee’s room and two car parks.
Forest Glade provides more than just football. We also have two dedicated baseball diamonds for the Forest Glade Redbacks baseball teams. The club is also hoping to branch into other sports in the near future.
Get Involved!
If you are interested in joining our football or baseball teams, then feel free to contact any of our managers or committee members. Forest Glade FC is run entirely by volunteers. All the managers and coaches are parents of the players that have got involved at some point. Therefore, the level to which you get involved is up to you. You can either just play sport here, or get involved in some coaching or even help out on the committee. No previous experience or qualifications are required, just a willingness to work with the kids to develop their football and team skills. We have a wealth of experience at Forest Glade, as well as many opportunities to learn more about coaching. We also have regular involvement with the local FAs and senior clubs (eg. Chelsea) to assist with our coaching needs.

Sponsorship/Funding
Forest Glade is self-funding from subscriptions, sponsorship and grants. We offer excellent sponsorship opportunities for local businesses to sponsor parts of the club. This could be sponsoring team kits, advertising around our ground with banners, sponsoring our footballs, our annual tournament or even our end of season trophies. We have a sponsorship manager that can assist should this be of interest to you

Subscriptions
The annual 2015/2016 subscriptions for football are £145 for youth players and £135 for mini soccer players. If you join the club mid-season, then this is reduced as necessary depending on when you join.
