Migraine Headache Neurological Pain Relief Device DE-KA Titan

Quick operating guide

The DE-KA Titan, the number 1 among the passive self-treatment devices, is based on the DE-KA method, a revolutionary invention in physical/physiological pain therapy.

The effectiveness of the DE-KA method has been clearly confirmed by scientific medical assessments and has also been tested by medical experts.
The DE-KA Titan is ready for use at any time, as no additional electrical or magnetic energy is required. Its ease of use and low weight mean it can be taken anywhere.

Method of operation:

The basis of any feeling of pain is a stimulus. This is converted to pain signals (receptor potentials) in the body and reported to the brain via the nerves. This pulse current is attenuated by the large capacitance of an electrical capacitor contained in the DE-KA Titan, so that only a reduced level of pain or no pain at all is reported to the brain.

The DE-KA Titan has no prophylactic effect. Pain is part of a warning and safety system that must remain responsive, at least in the short term.

Using the DE-KA Titan:

Communication between the nerve stimulated by the pain and the DE-KA Titan is set up either by placing the housing itself on the skin directly at the location of the pain, in the area of the nerve tracts or over a large blood vessel, or attaching an adhesive electrode at the stated positions and connecting it to the DE-KA Titan with the cable supplied.

The DE-KA Titan is usually worn on the left wrist with the flat side of the housing in contact with the inside of the wrist. The wrist strap should not be too loose.
For severe pain in the lower extremities, it is advisable to attach an adhesive electrode in the area of the lumbar vertebrae, and for severe back pain or general pain an electrode should be attached as an alternative to the uppermost cervical vertebra.

In cases of acute pain, the capacitive field of the capacitor is extended to the whole body via the blood or lymph after only a few minutes. This enables virtually any nerve stimulated by pain to be deadened – irrespective of the position and state of the location of the pain.

Applications:

Headache, migraine, trigeminal neuralgia, toothache, painful joints, tennis elbow, sciatica and back pain, general muscle pain and muscle cramp, rheumatism, post-operative pain and weather sensitivity.

For colds and flu, an adhesive electrode should be attached to the upper cervical vertebra for at least 48 hours.

Rule of thumb:

The worse the pain, the greater the effect of the pain reliever!

Safety instructions:

A doctor should always be consulted first when pain occurs for the first time.

The device is intended for external use only and must not be inserted into the body cavities.

The use of the DE-KA Titan pain reliever has no side effects whatsoever according to the present state of the art. An occasional tingling or warm feeling is usually temporary and disappears after using the device a few times.

The medical product law stipulates that all incidents in connection with medical products are to be reported to the manufacturer.

The DE-KA Titan must not be stored on large metal objects.

The DE-KA Titan is not intended for use on damaged skin.

The DE-KA Titan is not suitable for heat sterilization, but can be wiped with disinfectant or alcohol.

The DE-KA Titan must not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 85°C (direct sunlight!).

The DE-KA Titan must not be connected to electrical equipment and/or electrical cables.

The DE-KA Titan pain reliever complies with the medical product law and therefore carries the CE marking. It is a Class 1 medical device within the terms of the EC directive on medical devices (93/42/EEC).
