SERVICE CREW INDIVIDUAL APPLICATION

This form is for Service Crew members who are attending Spree independently, i.e. not part of a youth group. If you are coming with a group, your group leader can book you in using the main application form.
You must be aged 16 or over to be part of the Service Crew. If you are under the age of 18, you willneed to bring a completed Parental Consent Form with you to the Spree weekend. If you are over the age of 18, you will need to bring a completed Volunteer Emergency Contact Form with you.
If you are 18 or over, you will either need to already have a DBS Disclosure or ask us to obtainone for you. If you do not need or already have a DBS Disclosure, the closing date forapplications is 15thJune 2018. If you require us to obtain a DBS Disclosure for you, theclosing date for applications is 31st May 2018.
Being on Service Crew is a responsible position and you will be expected to work hard and set a good example to the young people at the event. In return, we offer a discounted weekend rate which includes your camping fees, food, and a special Service Crew-only activity session. You will also have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, grow in your faith, make new friends and enjoy being part of what, for many young people, is a life-changing weekend. During the event, you may be involved in helping supervise and run activities, set up venues, litter picking, stewarding, security and other jobs relating to running a successful event.
The Service Crew fees for 2018 are:
£20 booked in by 31st March
£30 booked after 31st March
You will be expected to camp, so you will need to bring your own tent, etc. (food provided)
