Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

  1. There is a God that knows who you are. He is with you. And He delights in you and what He created you to be.

Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.   2. When the very thing that defines our identity vanishes, we become desperate for a foundation.

My soul finds rest in God alone. My salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress. I will never be shaken.

  1. In those moments when we are hurting, or under pressure, our true foundation is suddenly revealed.

If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.
