Position Purpose: / §  The role of the Physiotherapist Level 2 is to provide quality client-focused physiotherapy services to both inpatients in the Geriatric Evaluation Management and Rehabilitation Unit and outpatients in the Day Therapy Unit , ensuring an holistic approach to the patient, their families and others. This position provides a Physiotherapy service with an emphasis on aged care and disability. The Physiotherapist will practice within the core values of Mercy Health and Aged Care. The physiotherapist will form an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team and will be required to provide highly responsive and flexible services to consumers whilst upholding a high level of professionalism
Qualifications & Requirements: / §  Recognised Degree in Physiotherapy.
§  Current Physiotherapy Registration with the New South Wales Physiotherapy Registration Board.
§  Current Class C Driver’s Licence.

CLINICAL CARE
Provide appropriate quality clinical care service delivery / ¨  Demonstrates competence in assessing and delivering high quality physiotherapy in Aged Care using evidence-based practice.
