September 30th to October 2nd, 2005
Summary: Baden-Powell’s Scouting Games is a Camporee with a game-based theme inspired by B-P’s book entitled, “Scouting Games”. Baden-Powell encouraged the use of games as a means of promoting physical and mental fitness, team skills and good citizenship. Some of the games selected for this camporee will be as described in B-P’s book. This is not a Cub Scout event, however, Webelos Scouts are invited to participate provided they are sponsored by a Troop. Webelos Scouts may participate in all but the most challenging games.
Preparation: In order to have as many activities open as possible, which reduces waiting in lines, we are requesting that each Troop sponsor a game at this event.
