2.There will be an informational meeting about the dual enrollment program during Homeroom on Tuesday, February 2nd in Mrs. Ottis' room (E 116). These are classes offered to seniors for which they get college credit. Classes offered include English I and II, Western Civilization (history) I and II, and College Algebra.

3.If you are interested in applying for Biomedical Research please pick up a form and sign up in Mrs. Mitchell, Coach Denson, Mrs. Olinger, or Mrs. Smith's room. This is for upcoming seniors. You must have had Trig/PreCal and at least 1 AP Science to apply. See or email Coach Denson for further questions. Deadline to turn in applications and teacher recommendations is Feb. 4

4.When purchasing ID’s, Lanyards, and Decals, Students will need to bring exact change. We do not give change in the front office for drink machines or any other items!!

5.The Health and Human Services Academy will meet Feb. 3 during homeroom in the auditorium. This is a required meeting if you are a member of this academy. Academy members please make sure to accept the canvas invite for updates. If you are in this academy and not received an invite please email Coach Denson.

GUIDANCE OFFICE ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hinds Community College Art Department is offering partial and full tuition scholarships to freshman art majors. Please see Mrs. Collins or Mr. DiFatta to pick up an application or get more information.

Hinds Community College Foundations Scholarship is due on March 1st. Visit the HindsCC website for more information and application.

The Tau Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. (Jackson, MS) will award a BookStipend in the amount of $ 250.00 to one graduating senior. Visit the counselor’s office for more details. Due February 15th.
