Game Notes:
· A double-single combo opened the scoring for Cochise in the third inning.
· In the fourth, Cochise took a 2-0 lead after Jamori Blash led off the bottom of the inning with a solo home run.
· The Matadors tied the game in the fifth. Brody Kato doubled and Makana Victorine singled him to third. Kato came home as Victorine was tagged out while trying to steal second. Landon Riker singled two batters later, and Scooter Bynum doubled him home.
· Cochise led off the bottom of the fifth with a home run from Logan Bottrell for a 3-2 lead.
· In the seventh, the Matadors retook the lead. Riker singled, and Pitoy doubled him home with two outs to tie the game at three. After Judah Zickafoose walked, Austin Maltby singled home Pitoy for a 4-3 lead.
· A leadoff double, sacrifice bunt and sacrifice fly allowed Cochise to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh.
· Brody Kato hit his first home run of the year, a solo shot in the eighth inning, to put the Matadors up 5-4.
· Humberto Montiel came on in relief to start the bottom of the eighth. With two outs and the bases loaded, an error at first allowed two runs to score and end the game.
· Jerremyh Angela started on the mound for the Matadors and went 6.0 innings, allowing 3 runs, all earned.
· Carlos Vega pitched the seventh for the Matadors.

Game Notes:
· Cochise’s Max Draijer hit a two-run home run in the third inning to start the scoring.
· The Matadors took the lead with a four-run fourth inning. After Kainalu Pitoy led off with a single, Judah Zickafoose doubled him home. Two batters later, Franky Chavez singled home Zickafoose to tie the game at two. Kristian Gonzalez smacked his second homer of the season, a two-run blast, to put the Mats up 4-2.
· Cochise answered with four runs in the bottom half. With two on, Luis Hidalgo double both runners home. With one out, Jorge Duarte doubled home Hidalgo for a 5-4 lead. Max Draijer singled home Duarte to make it 6-4 and chase Matador starter Jayden Murray.
· The Matadors tied the game back up in the top of the fifth. Gonzalez blasted his second two-run homer of the game and third homer of the season to make it 6-6.
· A Cochise error allowed the Matadors to take the lead in the seventh. Zickafoose singled and went to second on a groundout. Franky Chavez hit a ball to centerfield, and an error allowed Zickafoose to come home for a 7-6 lead.
· Cochise tied the game and loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the 7th, but the Matadors escaped the jam.
· In the ninth inning, a single, sacrifice bunt and single sent home the winning run for Cochise.
· Jayden Murray got the start for the Mats and went 3.1 innings while allowing 6 runs, all earned, on 8 hits while walking one and striking out one.
