  1. Opening Comments/ Rumor Control – Dan Zielske stated that at the recent Shared Governance meeting that President Stover announcedthe curriculum committee would be dissolved and AASC would take over the duties in the future. Change over time – curriculum committee will still fulfill functions; hoped for fall semester change but it may be spring semester – at this point the committee members were asked to continue to do the job in a professional manner until notification of a date ends the curriculum committee. This summer will entail testing the new system and committee member volunteers are being asked to check emails over the summer to see how the system is working.

Nancy Genelin reported on the AASC meeting after Shared Governance that it was agreed to continue to look at whether the committees need to combine into one to get rid of redundancy – and recruitment of faculty to serve – hesitation – new process – how much time it would take – would reduce time for reviewing at meetings – this will be watched next year and shoot for March before making a decision (spring of 2014). Come to a decision at that point. The curriculum committee will meet in the fall; asking for volunteers to assist in troubleshooting the new system. Redesign committee automatically on that group.

  1. NEW BUSINESS – Dan Zielske asked that the committee start with Nursing cco requests before reviewing the OLD BUSINESS
