Treasurers Report:

We will be getting a cash box, and discussed at this time donations will need to be in the form of cash until we get bank account. Receipts will be issued to every person that donates with amount as well as receipt of payment for items purchased like t-shirts, decals etc.

Presidents Report (12:43pm):

Brett discussed how 1 month ago, we had 500 likes on facebook. Today we have 750. In 2 weeks we received 165 likes. We are reaching 13,000 people per week. We have received TV and news paper articles featuring us and interviews of who we are and what we do.

Old Business (12:49pm):

Massillon Walk- Had our largest walk yet with roughly 60 participants. Received 3 separate write up in the Massillon Independent and Canton Repository, including being on the front page of the Independent!
Next walk will be Brooklyn- Open carry arrest in Brooklyn leads to Brooklyn walk to educate citizens of Brooklyn. Motion to approve walk. Jeremiah seconds- 16 yays. Scheduled for 9-14-13, 12pm-3pm. Following walk we will have a picnic open to all members and family members. Matt, Eric and Jeremiah are on picnic/food committee. Harry offers to donate meat for picnic. (Since meeting, picnic and walk changed to Kent due to unavailability of picnic location without paying to rent pavilion, impromptu walk set for 8-24-13 at 12pm)
T-shirts are in, Thank you to the anonymous donor for the shirts, Mike Potting modeled shirts, board members received shirts, all other shirts will be sold for $15.00 to help pay for our LLC and 501c3 status.

New Business (1:02pm):

Bloomberg tour- If members can make it on 8-13-13 in Columbus, bring shirts signs, and carry.
CHL NEO Carry presentation- NEO GUN SWAP/SELL Organization has asked NEO Carry to come to CHL classes they are offering to do a presentation on behalf of NEO Carry. Eric motioned to approve, harry seconded. Motion Passes.
Ohio Carry- discussion of growth of NEO Carry and expanding to OHIO Carry covering all of Ohio with chapters being in northwest, northeast, southwest, southeast, and central Ohio. We will establish websites for each chapter. Board members of NEO Carry will now be Ohio Carry board members as we transition NEO Carry into election of new board members and pass the torch. Ohio Carry will overlook all chapters events, activities, donations etc. This is going to be a well organized transition which will take time, by-laws will be established and followed by each chapter. This is going to be continuing process with more discussion in following meetings.

Open Forum (1:27pm):

Harry offers to donate $125.00 toward funding for 501c3. Much thanks Harry! We discussed 501c3 status, filing LLC and fed and state tax id filing. Selling t-shirts, collection of donations for funds to get 501c3 status and LLC. We discussed people petitioning to get rid of summit county gun shows and how we can support the continuing of the gun shows in Summit county.

SPLC Forum (1:32pm):

Can you have gun in car while driving with a felon. Yes you can, however you still need to follow laws and cannot have weapon accessible to felon while in car. driving across state lines you must follow state law for lawful carry.
