Dear Member,
Enclosed is your ballot for the 2006 Men’s Club Officer and Board Member Election and the 2005 Carl Rydin Classic Tournament Entry Form with information for the Annual Banquet/Dinner Dance. Both forms should be mailed back to Bob Chamberlin by September 6.
Please review your ballot for the 2006 Board and make your choices. Also, you may submit write in candidates. Complete the ballot and mail back with your Member-Member Entry Form.
This year’s Member-Member tournament will be on September 17-18. The Annual Banquet/Dinner Dance will be one week later on Saturday, September 24. There are several options on the entry form for your review. The first option is the Team Entry. Second, for members who do not have a partner and want to play, you may return the form to enter. Then, Sports and Pastimes Committee will try and match you up with another member who needs a partner. Finally, if you can’t play, but do want to attend the Annual Banquet/Dinner Dance with or without a guest, there is the dinner option only.
This year’s Member-Member honoree is Carl Rydin. Carl has been a member since 1993. In 1996, he was elected to the Board of Directors and in 2000, served as Vice-President. He then served as President in 2001 and has continued to be a very active member in supporting the Men’s Club. He is always willing to help and provide positive input. Congratulations to this year’s Member-Member Honoree, Carl Rydin.
The Annual Banquet/Dinner Dance will be held at Millenium Charhouse & Banquets (formerly Ripples), Saturday, September 24. Again this year we will have a joint event with the Afternoon Delights. There will be a cocktail hour, dinner, award presentations, and a DJ for dancing fun—remember last year.
Any donations or raffle prizes are needed and would most certainly be appreciated for these events. Anyone that has an interest, please contact Mac Seay, 630-985-0464.

Saturday and Sunday, September 17 & 18
The field will be divided into 3 flights based on total handicap. The winners from each flight will play a sudden death playoff on Sunday to determine the overall champion. Tee times will start at 7AM both days from the first tee.
Your $35 entry includes team picture, prize money, and food with a drink. As always, additional contests will be offered with separate entry fees.
SATURDAY
Format: one 18-hole, net better ball and one better 9 hole score from each player for a total of 36 holes.
Lunch: You will receive one sandwich with a Beverage (soft drink or draft beer).
SUNDAY
Format: Net 18 hole net score from both players for a total of 36 holes.
Lunch: You will receive two sandwiches with a Beverage (soft drink or draft beer).

This is a shared evening with the Afternoon Delights. There will be awards and presentations by both groups. You may bring as many quests as you would like. The cost for guests is $50.00 per person. Dinner choices include double chicken breast, prime rib, broiled NY steak, or baked orange rouphy. Join us for what will be an evening of fun.
