1 INTRODUCTION
Abstracts of MIER2017 must be written in English. In order to ensure that high quality proceedings will be published, authors are advised to prepare abstracts following the guidelines detailed in this guide. 2 FORMAT OF ABSTRACT
2.1 Paper size and page
Authors should prepare their manuscripts in two columns format for printing on A4 (210mm x 297mm) paper and must ensure that the completed abstract do not exceed one page.
2.2 Margins
Authors must ensure that the typing area (centered) matches the guidelines given below:
(a)The distance from the top edge of the paper to the top line of type should be 25mm.
(b)The bottom margin should be 25mm. No page number should appear in the abstract.
(c)The left and right margins must be 20mm.
(d)The width of each column should be same and the separation between the two columns should be 12mm.
3 FONT
Try to use proportional Times New Roman font only, justified if possible, in order to avoid printing troubles. The font size of the abstract is 10pt except to the title (12pt) and reference(9pt)
4 HEADING
Section heading should be centered in the column in capital letters, bold font and numbered consecutively.
4.1Sub-section heading
Sub-section heading should be also numbered and first character of sub-heading must be capital letters.
5 FIGURES, TABLES ANDREFERENCE
Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively. The figure number and caption should be typed below the illustration (centered). The table number and caption should be typed above the table (centered).
List and number all references at the end of the paper. When citing references in the text, type the corresponding number in (round)parentheses as shown at the end of this sentence (1).
6 SUBMISSION
The symposium proceedings will be published through the electronic submissions of the authors by means of E-mails. Thus manuscripts are to be made as PDF files and then sent to the Organizing committee as attached files with E-mail to
.
Note in particular that for PDF files, only type 1 font should be used, to minimize the risk of printing errors. And please note that the manuscript file does not exceed 2MB in order to avoid the E-mail trouble due to the capacity of out mail server. Authors must strictly keep the following deadlines.
