Looking to promote your club? Use MeetUp.com!MeetUp groups are a proven way to get more exposure to your club.

District 40 has created groups for you to join and post your club meetings for free.Check thisinformative flyerand reports for Apriland May to show yourclub what’s happening in the District already.

Instructions

First, log in to meetup.com. You will need to sign up if you are not yet a meetup.com user.

Set up your profile with a Good Picture!

Next, you will need to join the meetup group closest to you.

You do not need to start a new meetup group! Search for one of our groups:

Toastmasters Clubs of Greater Cincinnati

Toastmasters Clubs of Columbus and Central Ohio

Toastmasters Clubs of Dayton and The Miami Valley

Toastmasters Clubs of Lexington and Eastern Kentucky
Toastmasters Clubs of Huntington WV

Toastmasters Clubs of Charleston WV

If you will be setting up meetings for your club, send an email to us at requesting that you be upgraded to Event Organizer. In the email, please let us know which meetup group you belong to, the name that you registered on the account, and what club you represent.

After you get an email stating you are upgraded, add your club’s meeting by clicking on the “schedule a new meetup” link. We suggest you use the location assistant to find your location.

You can always go back in and edit your meeting.

If this meeting will repeat, scroll towards the bottom and you will see a screen to make a meeting recurring.

If you meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, you will need to create two repeating meetings. If you meet weekly, you will only need one.

There you have it. Your meetings are now being promoted on MeetUp.com!

1. You can use this not only for Regular Meetings, but for Contests, Open Houses, and other special events.

2. You can respond to inquiries and new member announcements, helping them to get to know you and come to your next event.

Enjoy!
