The minutes of the preceding meeting: approved as read.
The following bills were read: Two bills 1) $7.42 for new checks; 2) $500 to T J Kessler
The following communications were read; no communications
F Comptroller reported: $125 collected for dues; $60 in for dues on January 26
F Purser reported: The assembly’s bank is Bank SNB. The general checking account is $2459.11; The chalice account is at $2510.44
The following committees reported:
Color Guard: John Wheeler reported – the assembly has not been involved very much in functions recently except Our Lady of Guadalupe service.
F Navigator read applications for membership: 1) William Mullens and Joe Dempsey from December and Robert Postolski is currently awaiting membership.
Unfinished Business: no unfinished business
New Business: David Barnett and Dave Stauber worked on calling a phone tree this month to invite members to the meeting & there were several more member present this month. Dave Stauber would like to have all the membership confirm that we have the correct cell phone, email and contact information. He would also like to confirm if several of the named members are in fact members or not and, therefore, would like to update the membership list.
There was discussion to add activities to make the Fourth Degree more visible, such as a corporate mass. On that note, Dave Barnett decided to hold a corporate mass on February 21st at 10:00 AM. There was again discussion regarding placing flags on Highlands Ranch Parkway on major holidays by Bernie Kuta. Talk included placing 50-100 flags in Towne Center. This issue was tabled for further discussion.
Bruce Allen asked if we had reached out to the six new Third Degree members from November to ask if they’d like to join the assembly.
No report of the third degree.
