MINUTES OF THE UNIT APPROVAL COMMITTEE MEETING (No. 6/CHITTOOR (2009) FOR SEZs HELD ON 10.09.2009 AT 3.00 PM AT THE SUB-OFFICE OF DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONER:VSEZ, HYDERABAD.

Members Present:

The Development Commissioner, VSEZ and Chairperson, UAC welcomed the members and appraised them briefly about the proposals placed before the Committees for their consideration.

IRatification of the Minutes of the Unit Approval Committee Meeting for Sector Specific SEZs & Multi Product SEZs held on 16.07.2009

The minutes of the meeting held on 16.07.2009 were ratified.

AGENDA ITEM No. I:

Proposal of M/s. TIL Exports Pvt. Ltd for setting up of a New Unit in the Sri City SEZ for manufacture of Tablets/Capsules/ Liquids/dry syrups etc.

The proposal for setting up of Unit by M/s. TIL Exports Pvt. Ltd was discussed and approved.

AGENDA ITEM No. II

Proposal of M/s. Amphenol Mobile Communication Production Pvt. Ltd for setting up of a New Unit in the Sri City SEZ for manufacture of Mechanical and Electromechanical components.

The proposal for setting up of Unit by M/s. Amphenol Mobile Communication Production Pvt. Ltd. was discussed and approved.

AGENDA ITEM No. III

Request of M/s. Sri City Pvt. Limited for permission to procure duty free material for road construction (Box Culverts) on R1 north road in Sri City SEZ.

The List of goods certified by the Chartered Engineer has already been forwarded to the Members along with the Agenda notes.

The proposal was discussed and approved.

AGENDA ITEM No. III

Request of M/s. Sri City Pvt. Limited for permission to procure duty free material for road construction Box Culvert on spine road chainage 8 + 600 in Sri City SEZ.

The List of goods certified by the Chartered Engineer has already been forwarded to the Members along with the Agenda notes.

The proposal was discussed and approved.

AGENDA ITEM No.IV:

A.Request of M/s. Sri City SEZ Pvt. Ltd., for approval of services as a Developer for the purpose of exemption from payment of Service Tax and refund of Service tax paid by them.

The members have approved the following list of services consumed within the Zone in relation to authorized operations in r/o. M/s. Sri City SEZ Pvt. Ltd (Developer) for exemption from payment of Service Tax in terms of Finance Notification No. 9/2009-Service Tax dated 03.03.2009 as amended by Notification No. 15/2009-Service Tax dated 20.05.2009 subject to verification of actual consumption within the zone in relation to authorized operations by the Jurisdictional authorities.

Leasing of ready built space/land

B.The members have approved the following list of services consumed partly or fully outside the Zone in relation to authorized operations in r/o. M/s. Sri City SEZ Pvt. Ltd (Developer) for refund of Service Tax in terms of Finance Notification No. 9/2009-Service Tax dated 03.03.2009 as amended by Notification No. 15/2009-Service Tax dated 20.05.2009.

C.Request of M/s. Neogen Properties SEZ Pvt. Ltd., for approval of services as a Developer for the purpose of exemption from payment of Service Tax and refund of Service tax paid by them.

The members have approved the following list of services consumed within the Zone in relation to authorized operations in r/o. M/s. Neogen Properties SEZ Ltd (Developer) for exemption from payment of Service Tax in terms of Finance Notification No. 9/2009-Service Tax dated 03.03.2009 as amended by Notification No. 15/2009-Service Tax dated 20.05.2009 subject to verification of actual consumption within the zone in relation to authorized operations by the Jurisdictional authorities.

SUPPLEMENTARY AGENDA ITEM No. I:

Proposal of M/s. Lovepac Converting Pvt. Ltd for setting up of a New Unit in the Sri City SEZ for manufacture of Semi-conductor materials, components such as productive films, gaskets, bonding adhesive tapes, dust proof mesh, Foam and parts of apparatus.

The proposal for setting up of Unit by M/s. Lovepac Converting Pvt. Ltd for setting up a new Unit was discussed and approved.
