·  The November Club meeting was held in conjunction with the annual pizza party.

·  Outstanding Member Awards: The Pontiac Club would like to thank the following members for their hard work and dedication:

Scotty Bowman

Kevin Workman

Once again this year Scotty has been a big reason the 2015 car show was a successful one. Scotty, along with his family and friends, made sure things ran smoothly and efficiently at the registration table along with the vote counting. Year after year Scotty has been showing his dedication at our car shows and the PCI very much appreciates it.

Kevin has been a longtime member with the PCI and in 2013 suffered a work-related accident in which both of his feet were severely broken. Even through all of this Kevin still makes it to meetings when he can and was a tremendous help with the door prizes at this year’s car show. The PCI would like to thank Kevin for his dedication also.

·  Kay Rader from the Alzheimer’s Association was able to once again join us for our festivities this year along with her husband, Darwin. With proceeds from the 2015 car show, and donations from Bob Brown and generosity of club members, the Pontiac Club of Iowa was able to raise $5,000 this year to contribute for Alzheimer’s research. Kay was very thankful for our donation along with discussing the effects of Alzheimer’s and how unfortunately, the statistics continue to rise in the number of people being diagnosed.

·  Misc.

On Sunday January 31st, the Wilde Wade’s swap meet will be at the fairgrounds. Chuck Wenthold usually reserves a spot to promote the Pontiac Club and would like to have a Pontiac to display. If anyone is willing to bring their car to the swap meet please let Chuck know.
