- HazMat & Technical Rescue Team Committee
- FY15 Update
- State will provide Fort Bend County with a sub-recipient agreement by Oct. 19th. Funds should be available by mid November.
- FY14 Grant Update (Haz-Mat & TRT)
- Equipment and Training
- All paperwork has been turned in and should be completed by the end of next month
- Maintainence contract with ToxMedix
- Purchasing order for Farr West received – adjusting needed to $40K
- Purchasing order for Grace Acct. received
- Grant will be ending by the end of this year
- OEM would like to receive all paperwork by this month as it takes the State another month to process the application
- Doug stated that even though there is $88K leftover; he asked the group if there are any radios in prime movers that need to be replaced
- Hazmat 5 needs 6 portbales
- Jurisdictions will provide FBC with numbers of radios that need to be replaced by end of the week
- The leftover funds can be used towards purchasing radios
- Backfill and overtime
- Numbers need to be in by Oct. 30th at the latest before the grant closes
- Actuals vs. Estimates
- ‘Actual’ means paperwork has been received, ‘Estimate’ means there has not been a final number received to start the process.
- Purchasing Dept. will be shutting down September 30 in order to close books
- If you are missing Actuals, then turn them in ASAP otherwise any paperwork will be in moratorium
- FY14 Haz-Mat Training—Confirm Dates
- BF/OT Local Training Estimates
- Decommissioned HazMat/TRT Equipment
- Doug asked the group to bring in missing inventory for OEM to mark off its’ list
- Bob added that the State has paperwork to complete for decommissioning grant funding equipment
- Bob has processed purchase of pharmaceuticals; but had to do a separate agreement for LikePak equipment
- Other Business
- The Houston RND Program has been awarded the Securing the Cities (STC) grant. More details to come. For more information, visit RND.HoustonUASI.com for past presentations and minutes.
