President Report:

Boys and Girls Club is coming to our Center.

Meeting with Fire Board. This meeting was very unfruitful. We as residents need to go to them together. Fire Board is out of compliance.

Mr. Hill has nominated Mrs. Palestine Reeves and Mr. Doug Williams for the Fire Board. These names have been given to Commissioner Bowman.

President desires that the community Center be open for the residents.

The grant we wrote will take about 6 weeks to process.

Special thanks to Rashard and Rennard Reeves for their donation to the Center.

We will table our benevolent funds to the next meeting. Motion Mrs. Reeves, 2nd by Ms. Bracy

Road and Landscape: Mr. May

Everything is looking good. Thanks to all that helped to cut the grass and helped with upkeep in the neighborhood. Residents are concerned about activity in the park after dark. Too much going on.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE PRESIDENT ABOUT THE PARK:

PARK OPEN FROM 6AM TO 6PM ONLY

THE LITTLE GATE STAYS LOCK PER THE PRESIDENT. THIS IS THE WALK IN GATE. Amendment: closed at all times!!!

Mr. Gary was asked by the President to help with the gate closing.

Communications:

Guest Speaker for the Veterans Day breakfast: Major Lanita Curry. This breakfast is Nov. 11th at 8:30am.

Candy for Halloween due on 10/17/16 at the Civic League meeting if possible. If you don't have it, please come by the Community Center on Oct. 21st, between 6-7pm to bring your candy.

Calendar Contest: Oct. 31st at the Center.

Social Committee: The social committee met to discuss rules and regulations about renting out the center. Many suggestions were given to enhance the process. Mrs. Coleman will take back to the committee to discuss it with the members. Social Committee: Ms. Bracy, Mr. Ken, Mrs. Mcclellan,Mrs. Coleman, Mr. Reeves. Our Christmas Dance will be Dec. 2nd and we will have the tickets this week. They will $12.00 each. motion Mrs. Reeves, 2nd Ms. Bracy. Approved.

Financial Report: Storm Shelter account: $2,197.86, Operation Account, $631.83.

Mrs. McClellan has the report is needed to see. motion: Mrs. Reeves, 2nd Ms. Bracy.

Neighborhood Concerns: Mr. Hill was told a food truck was in the community and the person was telling clothes. He called the Sheriff to take care of the situation. The person went to jail.

Mr. Gary: Has to get a template for the election in Nov.
