Conclusions: It was a very positive experience. For next time try to allot more relaxing activities for the beginning of the trip. As trip leaders we need to be more assertive about bed-time. We also didn’t prepare the group for that particular hike: insects were really bad. Group wasn’t as prepared as they should’ve been. Museum was very well received. Maybe next time before the hike we do a pep talk and stretching exercise. Great coup leadership. Overall is was a great time.

Discussion: Had a few setbacks regarding money: U-Haul, the train the transport of the first day. Giselle’s leg infection cost money: we need to have a back up plan in case that happens again, that cost about 200 Canadian dollars. We did very well collected money. Kyle got his money in like the day before. We need to inform everyone from now on what they’re getting themselves into because we don’t plan our trips for convenience or comfort but rather affordable. Saved a lot of money by cooking our own phone. The left over money will be used for future trips and winter reunion.

Discussion: Pool party, Katiuska’s parent’s restaurant to cater it. Location is tentative. Before school starts. This will be before the summer picnic, before August. Community service in homestead on the 17th of July, there will be a meeting right after. Tentative date for summer picnic is the 13ths or !4th. Fuddrucker’s back to school event the 26th of August.
Regarding the picnic, someone needs to book a park at North Trail, Jerica will book this.

Discussion: We charge $10 for transportation, and food. $5 if we only provide transportation. School bus is like 170 dollars. Maybe Van? Meeting at Ruben Dario, everybody from Montreal, for busses.

Other Information: From 10 to 1 we go sort clothes. 1 to 2 dance routine. And then the giving back event. We can provide food.
Conclusions: We can volunteer from 10 to 2, we will be sorting clothes that are donated, and we can entertain kids that are elementary school age. Discussion: Forms, we figured out a process for accepting application to be on the committee. We need to start scouting, make a list of interested people. Vaishali will create a contact sheet. We need to make a structure for the starting this out: orientation, etc. We also need to create a mini website for the mentoring committee: About, Home, Who to contact,
Maybe create ice-breaking event to get a more personal relationship. Mentors/mentees states their goals and expectations for the whole mentoring program. Have meeting with mentors. Have all this set up to start signing up by the end of August. Orientation day after CSO.
