BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR'S AGENDA/REPORT
Administration & Finance:
- Authorization to establish a Section 125 Plan for the employees of Sayreville at no cost to the Borough. The Section 125 Plan permits certain health care related expenses to be deducted at a pre-tax option.
b. Authorization to execute Risk Management Consultants Agreement for the Year 2010 with
North American Insurance Management Corporation.
Public Works:
- Authorization purchase the mini-excavator from Jesco, Inc., the lowest responsible bidder, in the amount of $49,825 and alternates for an additional cost of $17,047 for a total of $66,872.
Recreation:
- Authorization to establish a new recreation program - “Go Green” - and the associated fees. The program, for children ages 6-13, will last 6 weeks this summer and have a fee of $60 per participant.
- Authorization to retain Garden State Fireworks for the Annual Independence Day Celebration in Kennedy Park scheduled for July 3, 2010.

PBA Negotiations – discussion in executive session regarding PBA collective bargaining negotiations. The PBA has revised its request for a proposed settlement in the negotiations. I will provide the detail through similar spreadsheets as were discussed at the April 26, 2010 Council meeting. I believe we may be very close to an acceptable agreement for both sides.
