Meet the Incubator 143 Team

Adam Burgh

Adam is a junior History major with a minor in secondary education.He lives in Lawrence, PA, andgraduated from Canon-McMillan High School in 2013.Adam isa Fred Rogers Scholar whilealso servingas a history tutor for the History Department. He expects to graduate in 2017 with the hopes of becoming a high school history teacher.

TessaConville

Tessa Conville is a senior Psychology major from Hutchinson, PA. She is graduating in May 2016 and plansto attend graduate school to obtain a master’s degree in counseling. Hannah hopes to one day work as a mental health counselor in college.

Vincent Centore

Vincent Centorewas born and raised in Canonsburg, PA. He attended Canon-McMillan High School. Vincent is a Biochemistry major and will graduate in the spring of 2016. He is an active member of Habitat for Humanity, Tri-Beta Biology Honors Society, Alpha Lambda Delta National Honors Society, and the Chemistry Club. Upon graduation, Vincent plans to attend medical school.

Alaina D’Aloiso

Alaina D’Aloiso is from Pittsburgh, PA, and is a junior Early Childhood Education major with a Disabilities Studies minor. Guided by Fred Rogers’ simple and intentional interactions, Alaina plans to work with children, specifically in the field of Special Education.

Hannah Galvin

Hannah Galvin is a junior from West Virginia studying Early Childhood Education. She also is pursuing minors in Music and Disabilities Studies. She is excited to work on the Community Music Visits project, which brings music to children in local schools in the spirit of Fred Rogers.

Lauren Harbaugh

Lauren Harbaugh is a senior Biochemistry major with Psychology and Sociology minors from Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. She is a Residence Life Prefect, Admissions Ambassador, President of the Chemistry Club, and member of both the honors program and Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society. Lauren enjoys traveling and has participated in service trips to China, Taiwan, and Alaska. After graduation, Lauren plans to attend medical school.

Anastasia Homa

Ana is a senior Psychology major from Elizabeth, PA, who is set to graduate in December 2015. She hopes to attend graduate school for Clinical or Cognitive Psychology. She has a strong interest in working with families and individuals with anxiety disorders. Ana has a strong research interest, and is working on her senior thesis examining eyewitness memory in stressful situations, in addition to her collaborativework on children's persistence and iPad usage at the Fred Rogers Center.

ChadLinebaugh

Chad Linebaugh is from New Castle, PA. He is studying Digital Production and expects to graduate in May 2016. Chad plans to work in the media production industry. In addition to honing his video editing skills, he enjoys reading and watching sports and is a member of the Bearcat swim team.

Katherine Luchini

Kate Luchini is from Pittsburgh, PA. She is a Graphic Design and Communication double major graduating in the spring of 2017. Kate enjoys creating artwork, traveling and playing soccer in her free time. She hopes to one day inspire others with her work.

Margaret Miller

Maggie is a Psychology major and has a double minor in Children's Studies and Disability Studies (Special Education), and will be graduating May of 2017. Along with being in the Honors Program and the Psychology Scholars Program, Maggie is also a member of several national honor societies including Alpha Lambda Delta, Psi Chi, and Alpha Chi. Her future plans include pursuing a doctorate in Pediatric Occupational Therapy with the hopes ofimproving the lives of children, especially those with disabilities.

Joni Mulvaney

Joni Mulvaney is a senior Art Education and Theology major from Bakerstown, PA. She is a Fred Rogers Scholar and an active participant in multiple campus organizations.

Timothy Robbins

Timothy Robbins is from Harrisburg, PA, and is a junior studying Psychology and Theology with a minor in Children's Studies. He is interested in children, the elderly, counseling, people with special needs (specifically autism!), teaching religion,and children. He plans to be a student forever—one whoconstantly learning new things!Timothy loves traveling and meeting new people. He is honored to carry on the great legacy of Fred Rogers.

HannahSmereczniak

Hannah Smereczniak is from Canonsburg, PA, and will graduate in 2017. She is a Politics and Communication double major. Hannah enjoys current events, political debates, video production and makeup art on the side. In the future, she hopes to work for a political news company.

Maura Snyder

Maura Snyder is a Psychology major and Children’s Studies minor. A 2013 graduate of Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, PA, Maura came to Saint Vincent with the hopes of studying children’s media. She has accomplished this goal through her work with the Fred Rogers Scholars and Incubator 143. Maura is expected to graduate in December 2016, and hopes to continue her education in a Ph.D. program for Child Developmentwith the goal of working in the children’s media field to help create beneficial media for children.
